Ranch homes with lake attitudes
Conway — the neighborhoods around Little Lake Conway and Lake Gatlin — is classic Orlando: mid-century ranch homes, many with lake frontage or lake access, and original windows that have been there since the house was built. Aluminum single-hungs, jalousies in the Florida rooms, sliders that haven't glided since the 90s. It's all replaceable, and the transformation is dramatic.
The lake effect
Little Lake Conway's shoreline homes get open-water wind across the lake — and the lake-facing glass is usually the biggest in the house. Those are the priority openings: impact-rated for the exposure, low-E for the sun reflecting off the water, and properly sealed against the wind-driven rain that hits waterfront homes hardest.
Florida rooms and enclosures
Half of Conway seems to have a Florida room — and most of them have the original jalousies or single-pane sliders. Converting a Florida room to real impact windows and doors turns a three-season afterthought into year-round living space: quieter, cooler, and protected. It's one of the highest-satisfaction projects we do.
